McGlinn's Public House

Consistent Quality • Wood-Fire Oven • Pub-Fare • 111 Orondo Avenue, Wenatchee, WA 98801, (509) 663-9073

OBSERVATIONS:
Exposed rafters, the kitchen in full view, a long bar and tables filled with folks carrying on with laughter and the clink of glasses, the ping of forks on plates, a serious conversation over in the corner. The smell of food is intoxicating. Grab a table early, it's crowded every night.

KEY FEATURES:
The Garland Building, constructed in 1922 by Charlie Garland, was originally home to the Orondo Recreation Club, housing a variety of entertainment options including a billiard hall, card room, lunch counter and cigar shop.

Throughout the forties and fifties, the Club continued a long run as a successful and vibrant social spot. During the sixties through the eighties, business declined and the Garland fell into disrepair. Since the opening of McGlinn’s in 1991, the charm and character of the Garland is once again home to one of Wenatchee’s favorite gathering spots.
