Beer Thirty

Field Report 20140804AH

Topic:
New Locales

Conditions:
Crisp & Refreshing

COMMENTS: I trekked around Leavenworth, Washington - a fine Bavarian village just a skip away from Wenatchee - peeking in windows, enjoying the sun. It had just rained the night prior, washing the air and making it a pleasure to breathe - the scent of pine in my nostrils - I craved a beer and found one just a block or so from downtown.

KEY FEATURES: Leavenworth, Washington - railroad hub, lumber town, turned Bavarian themed village - is set against the staggeringly tall Cascade mountains. Multiple backpacking and biking trails, nordic skiing and snowshoeing routes can be found just moments away.

RECOMMENDATIONS:
Dirtyface Amber (file photo attached) by Icicle Brewing.
