FCL: What is your favorite northwest beer right now and why?

PM:  Right now, Cowiche Canyon Organic Fresh Hop Ale (Fremont Brewing Co.) is my favorite beer. It is an unbelievable beer that Matt Lincecum and his talented team creates every year during hop harvest to showcase organic Simcoe, Citra, and Mosaic hops from Carpenter Ranches in the Yakima Valley. While the beer’s scarcity might have something to do its demand, it’s a product that warrants the praise it gets. Plus, proceeds from the beer go to the Cowiche Canyon Conservancy.
