Post-work mountain bike rides

Waning light, cooling temps

One of the great things about summer in the Wenatchee valley is the long daylight hours. It's just high enough latitude to have great visibility until nearly 10pm right around the summer solstice. With the foothills trail network so easily accessible from town, a quick jaunt up to Sage Hills Trail or even up Mission Ridge is not only possible, but an excellent way to burn off stray calories and work stressors.

Gravity – both friend and foe. The foothills' steep pitches provide plenty of opportunity to chew through calories and strengthen constitution on the ascent, as well as invigorate on the descent and remind you of what it means to live outside of the office.
