Field Report No. 20150626RC
Topic: Coeur d'Alene Beer
COMMENTS: I've found my people. The no-frills crowd that looks ready to fill a Nalgene Grunt ($10), go directly to the trailhead, and not emerge from the woods until they have to work again on Monday. This is Slate Creek Brewing Company in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.
KEY FEATURES: Mesh-back hats, a semi-circle of camping chairs, laughter, peanut shells, and mugs on the wall (each representing a member of the club).
RECOMMENDATIONS: Stay long enough to get to know the people, listen to old Pearl Jam, and try the 6-Weight IPA and Norse Nectar Juniper Pale.
